    Key Responsibilities:

    Maintain observations, and individual recordkeeping for lessons and student mastery. Use of Transparent Classroom for recording lessons given and mastered is required, but observations can be done using an alternative method if desired.

    Prepare materials, lessons and other needs necessary for the classroom in accordance with traditional Montessori philosophy.

    Attend all school meetings and school related functions.

    Establish and maintain good communications with parents through parent conferences, meetings, informal communication, emails, two progress reports, Parent Education Evenings and the weekly classroom newsletter.

    Collaborate effectively with other staff members including other Head Teachers, our Learning Specialists and our Primary Program Director for curriculum planning, parent education events, student support, and for continued professional growth.
