- MACTE president/executive director Dr. Rebecca Pelton will be retiring at the beginning of April, after 15 years of service at MACTE. She was an amazing leader and transformed MACTE into a global accrediting agency. MACTE is the only Montessori accrediting agency recognized by USDE.  MACTE now has a high reputation all around the world and has MROs programs on all continents, except Antarctica. She will be greatly missed.

- The new President/Executive director is Dr. Carolyn Pinkerton, who was the Vice-President /Executive Director of MACTE and worked with  Rebecca the last 8 years..We welcome Dr. Pinkerton to her leadership of MACTE.  Our own PNMA board member, Gulsevin Kayihan is a member of the MACTE board.
