Montessori Public Policy Initiative has been an advocacy partner with PNMA in WA state.  Our own work of meeting with the DCYF state agency has enjoyed support from the national level in achieving our goals of recognition for teacher credentials and Montessori curriculum.  MPPI has issued a report in their defining work for Montessori education that illustrates progress and goals for the future in many states.  Read the attached document.
