Haggard Childcare Resources (HCR) is seeking a MACTE-certified Montessori Primary Guide (or guide in training) to join one of our eight established school communities.
We are looking for a warm, thoughtful, and committed Montessori guide who honors the child, trusts the process, and finds joy in preparing beautiful, purposeful environments. This is an opportunity to steward your own classroom with professional autonomy while being supported by a long-standing organization that values Montessori principles, collegiality, and reflective practice.

The Role
-Lead a Primary (3–6) Montessori community with care, intention, and respect for each child’s development
-Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly, and engaging environment
-Observe children thoughtfully and guide them according to their individual developmental needs
-Foster independence, concentration, and a love of learning
-Build warm, respectful partnerships with families and colleagues
Qualifications
-MACTE-accredited Montessori Primary (3–6) credential (or currently in training / willing to begin training within the year)
-AA or BA in Early Childhood Education or a related field
-A deep respect for children and commitment to equity, inclusion, and community
-A collaborative spirit, humility, and a sense of humor
-Ability to meet Washington State licensing requirements (background check, TB test, etc.)
