Qualifications:

- Montessori early childhood education certification

- Experience working in a Montessori classroom for at least one year

- Provide warmth and guidance to children

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Plan and prepare the classroom and activities

- Be a team player

- Fantastic organizational and teamwork skills

- Part-time or Full-time availability

Candidates must also have CPR and First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens and HIV training, Basic 30 Hours STARS training, or be able to obtain all requirements within 30 days of hire. All candidates will have an approved background check and be required to have a TB test.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with Montessori principles and early childhood education standards.

Foster a nurturing and safe classroom environment that promotes child development and learning.

Manage classroom dynamics and maintain discipline while encouraging positive behavior.

Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs, to enhance their learning experience.

Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications to ensure student safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.60 - $25.00 per hour
