Description: Lead Teacher for Preschool, PreK, Kindergarten (2.5 yrs to 6 yrs)

- Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that encourages children to explore, discover, and grow at their own pace.

- Implement and Use Montessori-based curriculum that supports independence, concentration, and a love for learning. Guide and observe children individually and in groups across key Montessori areas, including practical life skills, language, math, sensory activities, and cultural studies.

- Encourage positive social behaviors, responsibility, and conflict resolution, fostering a calm and respectful classroom atmosphere.

- Communicate with parents regularly, providing updates and insights on their child’s progress.

- Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience.

- Ensure a safe, clean, and inspiring learning environment that supports the physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being of each child.

What We’re Looking For:

Montessori Teaching Certification (AMS, AMI, NAMC, MINC, MACTE, or equivalent).

Experience working with children (ages 2.5-6) in a Montessori setting.

Knowledge and understanding of Montessori philosophy, methods, and materials.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a peaceful, structured learning space.

Excellent communication skills with both children and parents.

CPR/First Aid certification (can be obtained upon hire).

Ability to pass a thorough Criminal Background Check.
