Description: Spruce Tree Montessori School is accepting resumes for the position of Lead Elementary Teacher in a combined lower/upper elementary environment. Ideal candidate has a Montessori teaching credential (EI, 6-9 or EI/EII, 6-12) from a MACTE-accredited training center but ADULT LEARNERS in training are eligible to apply. Looking for individuals with a minimum of two (2) years experience in a Montessori classroom, experience with classroom set-up and materials organization, classroom management skills, excellent parent relationship skills and proficient computer skills. Best fit candidates are innovative and resourceful, active and kind. He/she demonstrates a sound understanding of the Montessori philosophy and is confident in his/her knowledge of Montessori materials, teaching fundamentals and electronic record keeping.
