Description: Summer School - Montessori Teacher Position Available

Compass Montessori School, located in Federal Way, is a well-respected Montessori school offering quality education and interactive learning to children, aged 2 to 6. We have been in business for 20 years.

We are currently looking for highly motivated, Montessori-certified teacher to inspire and develop memorable experiences for our students as part of our summer school program. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, and to grow and learn more as an early childhood educator.

Qualifications:

• Montessori early childhood education certification
• Experience working in a Montessori classroom for at least one year
• Provide warmth and guidance to children
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Plan and prepare the classroom and activities
• Be a team player
• Fantastic organizational and teamwork skills
• Full-time availability

Candidates must also have CPR and First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens and HIV training, Basic 30 Hours STARS training, or be able to obtain all requirements within 30 days of hire. All candidates will have an approved background check and be required to have a TB test.

The position is available starting in June. The program runs from June 30-August 15. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-4pm.
