Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Upper Elementary/Middle School Montessori Teacher who is passionate about education and ready to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will bring special interests such as music, outdoor skills, or a strong understanding of STEM related curriculum to enrich our students' educational experiences. Flexibility, creativity, and a commitment to Montessori principles are essential as we work to rejuvenate our Upper Elementary and Middle School programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging, dynamic Montessori lessons for Upper Elementary and Middle School students (ages 9-14).

- Integrate special interests such as music, outdoor education, and STEM into the curriculum to create a diverse and stimulating learning environment.

- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages mutual respect, collaboration, and a love of learning.

- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting instruction to meet the needs of each child.

- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student growth and program development.

- Participate in school events, outdoor activities, and extracurricular programs.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement and revitalization of our Upper Elementary and Middle School programs.

Qualifications:

- Montessori certification for Upper Elementary and/or Erkinder/Secondary I (required).

- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

- Strong passion for teaching and a genuine interest in the holistic development of children.

- Special skills or interests in areas such as music, outdoor education, and STEM.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Flexibility, creativity, and a collaborative spirit.

- Commitment to the Montessori philosophy and methodology.
