Description: Cedar House Montessori is looking for a part-time teacher to begin in September 2024. Cedar House is a small one classroom (15 student) school located in the Columbia City neighborhood. The job hours would be Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. Teacher would be expected to assist the lead teacher and other assistant in guiding the students through the morning work time - helping to give lessons, establish kind and firm boundaries, guide students through transitions, including help with bathroom, lunch, and outside time, as well as helping to set up in the morning and clean up in the afternoon. The school goes year-round taking all Seattle Public School breaks and two breaks during the summertime. Teachers are paid an equitable rate based on experience & are paid for all school breaks.

This position would start as temporary with a re-assessment in January 2025.
