Description: Olympic View Montessori is a small preschool and kindergarten located in the Perrinville area of Edmonds. We operate September -June from 8:45 am-3:00 pm M-F. We offer a 2-week summer camp in July. We follow the Edmonds School District calendar.

We are looking for an Assistant Teacher or Intern Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 12:30 pm. This position will start at the beginning of the school year (until the end of October) with full-time hours of 8 am-3 pm and then depending on full-time enrollment, either be part-time 8 am- 12:30 pm or full-time 8 am - 3 pm, after October.

CPR / First aid, background check, bloodborne pathogens, food handler's card requested, but will provide training opportunities if needed. Opportunity for professional development and training.

Wage $ 17-22 DOE

Daily tasks will include:

– Setting up the classroom for the day

– Playground supervision

– Assisting with snacks and practical life activities

– Observation and record keeping

– Classroom clean-up, sanitizing, and “closing” procedures

– Following safety procedures and supervision of children
