Description: Our farm-based Montessori school is seeking a credentialed (MACTE, AMS, AMI) Montessori Teacher for a full time schedule 8am-4pm in our mixed-age (3-6) Montessori primary classroom.

Responsibilities Include:

Maintaining & enriching the Montessori environment

Presenting Montessori lessons using the classroom materials

- Setting the tone for a calm, peaceful classroom

- Creating & maintaining individual lesson plans and lesson records

- Contributing to class pieces for Parent Nights & monthly newsletters

- Preparing academic evaluations for conferences & parent meetings

- Class management & supporting children during free play & outdoor periods

- Circle-time lesson planning

- Following school themed calendar and planning and implementing theme related projects

- Preparing and leading conferences & meetings with parents

Documenting children’s work with photos and notes

Cleaning and organization of classroom environment

Job Requirements:

*Montessori Certification

*Degree work or equivalent experience in Early Childhood Education

*Current and cleared TB test.

*Fully COVID vaccinated

*Proof of immunity from measles (MMR)

* Background Check

* Infant/Child CPR/First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens.

*Food handlers Permit

*Attend all faculty meetings and scheduled staff events

Special Consideration will be given to candidates who can demonstrate:

- Art, music, or theatre experience

Foreign language experience
