The Managed Education and Registry Information Tool (MERIT) replaced the STARS database as the place to house information on MERIT-approved trainings and training organizations. Child care providers and other early learning professionals can now search MERIT for available trainers and training organizations.
PNMA is still an Organization in the MERIT database. Approved trainers can select Pacific NW Montessori Association as an administrative organization to handle registration and reporting of a training or event. To consult with us send your request to info@pnma.org
The MERIT online application is used to request a reimbursement for the cost of any state-approved training(s) that you have completed within the past 12 months. To be eligible for a reimbursement you must also be currently employed in a DEL licensed or certified child care facility. View each facility type below for the list of eligible job positions.

You may apply for a training reimbursement one time per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) for any amount up to $150.00. Eligible trainings include any state-approved annual continuing education training or the basic STARS training that meets the initial licensing requirement.

IMPORTANT: Your training reimbursement will be sent to the mailing address in your MERIT professional record. To ensure that you receive your reimbursement in a timely manner, please make sure your address is recorded correctly.
