MONTESSORI EDUCATORS OF WASHINGTON STATE:
Welcome our Keynote Speaker, Jacqueline Cossentino and Keith Whitescarver from the National Center for Montessori in the Public Sector.  She will present two topics;
  • Morning Keynote,"Cultivating a Montessori Community of Practice" &
  • Afternoon Keynote, "Following All the Children: Early Intervention and Montessori"
Each Keynote is followed by sessions for Focus Groups on current issues and strategies in Montessori Education.  Attendees will be able to attend 2 group sessions.
  • Jackie Cossentino will follow up and expand on her Keynotes with Keith Whitescarver
  • Suzie Hanson & Jami Lund will explain Legislation and how to advocate for your school
  • PNMA will connect you with Montessori Forward and our WA State Coalition
  • Paula Bond & Sandra Lindsay-Brown will address Authentic Montessori in Public Schools
  • Juliet Morrison will connect with teachers about Professional Development and the MERIT programs.

THIS INCLUSIVE EVENT IS OFFERED FOR YOU TO GATHER AND SHARE INSIGHTS WHILE GAINING INFORMATION AND RESOURCES RELEVANT TO YOUR SETTING.

WE WANT YOUR VOICE AS WE SPEAK FOR MONTESSORI STANDARDS AND PRACTICES. ADVOCACY IS LOCAL SO WE EACH NEED TO BRING OUR PRACTICE TO THE CONVERSATION.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Consider MEMBERSHIP to save on this event and the May Sharing Fair!
REMEMBER YOU CAN GET REIMBURSED: up to $150 yearly through MERIT for registered teachers.
  • PNMA members fee $50
  • Public fee is $80
Attendees will earn MERIT credits or Clock Hours.  Please indicate your choice in registration.
  • Catering for morning refreshments and lunch.
  • Free parking on site.
