We are eager to bring Paul Epstein to the Pacific NW. He is an eloquent story teller and Montessori educator.  He will guide us in a day of Observation Literacy.  The work we do will be based on his book,
An Observer's Notebook: Learning from Children with the Observation C.O.R.E.

ORDER A COPY WHEN YOU REGISTER! $30 cover price
The advantage of having the book before the event is the time you will have to go through it and prepare for a more supportive experience at this event.
Teaching teams attending together will have time to work through your plans and receive more guidance in the workshop.

Please visit his school site for his bio:

"Montessori teachers have three powerful tools with which aid in getting things right. A first is their knowledge of the sensitive periods. The second is knowing how to prepare the classroom environment so that each sensitive period is satisfied. The third tool is learning how to observe." ...from Goldilocks and the Sensitive Periods of Maria Montessori - Paul Epstein, PhD © 1996 The Montessori Foundation

We make The Observer's Notebook,2nd Edition available at cover price in your registration.  Our source is The Montessori Foundation bookstore.  Please designate whether you choose to pick up the book prior to the event or get it when you check in.
