Sharing Fair Participants: Teachers who share lessons are the foundation of the event!

FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions)

•  What does it mean to be a Sharing Fair Participant?

It’s simple and open to PNMA members. Prepare an original classroom work and a written lesson.  Set it up at the Sharing Fair so others can take pictures of it and take an accompanying write-up.

•  Why should I be a participant?
1. Free admission to the Sharing Fair, including refreshments.
2.  Inspire others. Your hard work will go beyond your classroom.
3. A chance to collaborate with your peers.

•    What should I include in the write-up?  A guide is on the LESSON PLAN you can download, complete and print. 

Your write-up must include all of the basic information about the work, including materials , intended age-range, prerequisites and direct aims. It may also include a guide to giving the presentation to a child; this depends on the intended age-range  and the nature of the work. Please be sure to include your name, email and school. All write -ups must be type written.

Your lesson plan will be stored in our PNMA DropBox to be shared - just submit your lesson to us by email as a pdf or turn it it at check in and we will get it scanned and entered.



• How do I register to be a participant?
Start with the event registration choosing the option for sharing a lesson.

You will receive a confirmation response by email.

•  How many copies of my write-up should I bring?
Please bring 100 hard copies to display each activity you are sharing & turn one copy in at check-in.

Following your registration you will be asked to submit your lesson as a document to info@pnma.org.  During and after the fair it will be available to attendees in our DropBox.

You will be given a classroom space at the fair to display your work.

•     When can I set-up and take down my lesson?
Participants are asked to check-in at 8:30 to set-up. After check in, you will be given  a  classroom location for your display. You are welcome to break down after 1:00 and must be finished by 2:00.

•    Do I have to stay with my lesson?
No. You are free to enjoy the Fair. Your write-up should answer all of the questions people have about your work. School or PNMA  staff members will be present in display area to ensure the safety of your materials.
